How easy is it to blow the rear end? Whats out there the upgrade it? Also, Every S/C S2k and even some turbo ones run low 13's, why? Cause of the diff?

its pretty difficult.. i mea anything can cause it to blow.. but anything can happen.. but there are pretty much a lot of upgrades, there is a guy on s2ki that does a mod that beefs up the stock diff... and the reason that the s2k runs 13 is because of the fact that the motor is so hard to push out as much hp as possible, you have to do a great deal of work to get a s2k to run sick numbers..

Your better off just replacing the diff with a used one with low miles.OR you could purchase a rebuild kit from "hardtopguy.com" like i did. A friend and I did the rebuild in about a hour and a half......and a six pack later.

They run 13's because people cannot drive and due to the lack of traction. Any 300+whp s2k should easily hit 12's.

exactly.. I had an ap1 with i/h/e and 4.77 final drive in my diff. and I ran a 13.6 at MIR..

I havent heard of Boosted S2Ks running 13s before, but I havent been on the s2k forums for a long time since I dont own a S2000 anymore. My S2K ran Low 13s Stock so it makes it hard for me to believe its the car's fault, prolly driver or condition of the track. Best time was 13.4 Completely stock.

Never got to run it with test pipe and intake.
