: 1997 Integra Type-R
Zuki Ryder 03-05-2009, 10:43 AM I have an opportunity to purchase a 1997 Integra Type-R in Championship white. It is practically brand new with only 743 miles on it. That’s right ONLY seven hundred forty three miles. It is completely stock. No modifications what so ever. They are asking $11,100 for it.
I checked Kelly Blue Book and they state because it is such a limited model they cannot give a value for it.
Ebay is not helpful, because when you search for type r, you get all these ricer tegras. The prices for real ones vary wildly and none are stock.
Autotrader hasn’t been very helpful either.
So my questions to you is, how much should this be worth? What kind of prices have you seen? I feel $11,000 is kind of high.:dontknow:
SoloTeg 03-05-2009, 11:00 AM $11,000 is rediculously low for such low miles. I smell a scam.
kegeras 03-05-2009, 11:47 AM 11k is dirt low.
I would ask for 15k if there was no rush to sell it.
Dy-lan 03-05-2009, 12:16 PM Yea i rememeber a while back a guy found one with similar miles and it was like 17k+ i think.
Zuki Ryder 03-05-2009, 12:55 PM  Wow, really 11,000 is low? Who woulda guessed. Im glad I asked then.
Its not a scam. Its for real. I work for American Honda Motor Co. they had one of these stored away and now they want to get rid of it. I guess I'd better put in for it.
blueberrydc5 03-05-2009, 01:00 PM no fuckin way lol ..you work for honda and you had to actually ask if it was a good deal?
gunnnnzzz 03-05-2009, 01:01 PM scam
brysx 03-05-2009, 01:01 PM jump on it. i wonder how it would run since it was probably stocked for a long time.
SoloTeg 03-05-2009, 01:40 PM You might want to look into replacing some parts that probably had been degrading from sitting for so long. Unless they started and ran the engine for a while every day which I doubt.
Hopefully someone can chime in with more of a technical view of this.
cheezzy135 03-05-2009, 04:09 PM wtf hop on that shit, thats incredible to find it for that cheap & low miles type r's go for around 15k

LOL, you sir are an ass. So because I don’t know the current market value for a special limited production vehicle in a particular given region, Its makes me somehow less deserving to own such a vehicle.
Brilliant, what a genius.:slowclap:
brysx 03-06-2009, 04:56 PM have u seen the car yet? maybe its a lemon?

Bango_Vang01 03-10-2009, 09:25 PM It's fake yo!
Fudgen if I had a 97 ITR with that low mileage and was selling it, I be asking for like $25,000 or more! The 97 ITR is RARE! I think only 1000 were made in the world (or was it 500?).
Do more research on it, if its legit... Buy it and SELL IT for more!!!!!!!

 You did not read the whole thread did you.
Anyways the sale is over. As it turns out they did not list the actual price. Tax and license were not included (it usually is), plus it was not located in California (shipping will be an additional estimate of $1000). So in the end the price went up substantially.
I did not get it.
Type-Spaz 03-11-2009, 10:31 AM wow where did you find this?

good choice. freakin cool car, but way too much headache imo.
Inlimbo87 03-29-2009, 08:32 AM Should've bought it and resold it if you didn't want to keep it. Even with tax and shipping you probably could've pocketed 7-8k+
EdBell 04-26-2009, 08:20 AM you can get a JDM DC2, shipped for less than that. go for it anyway
CEPbl 06-02-2009, 12:02 PM i seen a 97 with 86k on it go for 13k should have let me buy it, where i live i dont have to worry about people breaking into it and stealing it. :D
SimDesi 06-02-2009, 01:36 PM Thats really low. Probably a stolen one, my buddy had a 97 ITR that just got stolen not too long ago too......
