Hi guys, I just test drove a s2000.....06 with 30 k miles on it,
but I felt a little dissapointed that it wasnt that fast compared to my RSX type s.
dont get me wrong, it was a amazing car.( plus summer is coming)
well this was my second time I drove it, the first time I drove it was before I bought my 02 rsx and I felt ...shit...this s2000 can run, it felt like I was riding a motorcycle..and that was a 02 s2000.
But yesterday, I felt wierd, the handling was awesome but not that a big difference as far as braking or acceleration. And actually I felt the suspension on S2000 was kinda soft ( dont know if I got A-spec suspension on my car? and I know A-spec is soft compared to other aftermarket parts)
I testdrove it because I wanted to trade in my car and get my dream car s2000, but after the experience I had yesterday, I had my second thought? Was it normal( I know that s2000 is in mint condition) that there is not a big difference between s2000 and type-s as far as acceleration and braking? I could not tell the handling because I cant drive that crazy and put the car to the limit on the road. But I know s2000 handling would be better than our S.
The point is....is it worth it? Dealer told me they would give my 7k for trading in my car ( 02 type s with 52k miles on it, AEM intake and powergetter)? they said s2000 listed for 22k. Is it worth it?
any thoughts?
Thanks guys
