So I sold my supercharger kit for 1600 to lovemydc5.ap on may may 17,2011.. he called a week after he got it telling me that I am missing stuff that was listed in my post..which is total BS... its clearly stated in my post what's included in the kit and I even sent him pics and info in text before he paid and he was all happy. But after about 2 weeks the last time he called(which is today) I received an email from paypal that he had opened a dispute and now I have -1600 in my paypal balance...he stated in the dispute that he wants a 1000 refund cause I was missing some stuff for install and that's how much the shop asked him for to install. Now I've replied to the dispute and clearly stated everything on my defense ofcourse I denied the refund... and he has not been answering/emailing back to me...

Idk what to do now? Am I gonna have to pay for the balance if he does not answer back?

I've been fuckin callin paypal since 4 hrs ago and they just keep transferring me to the "dispute specialist" and everytime they do I would wait 20+ minutes and just end up hanging up.. I'm at work so its pissin me off more.

Sorry to hear the bad news.... usually if I get stuck on the phone, I usually put them on speaker and play call of duty while I wait lol. but I don't know if that would work for you. Paypal wont take the money from your card. It will just stay as a negative balance till either you win the claim or you pay the debt. You should definitely call. I lost a paypal claim that I was in the right because the buyer called and I did not.

yeah they will just freeze your account till there is a resolution... it's a pain in the dick... just keep calling and trying

As long as you have proof that what you listed in the ad is what you gave him it's all good. If you still have access to the original ad and emails or texts you sent him take screen shots that's what I did. And don't worry about the -1600 right now it just means they are holding the money to look over the case. It will go away after they rule in your favor. When it happened to me the money wasn't even in my paypal account anymore it was in my bank account.

If he doesn't respond to the paypal case better for you! You win the case and it's closed. But if they favor his side your screwed and have to pay that money. But from what your sayIng you described in your ad and the fact that you sent him pics you should be okay

login to paypal, go to the contact us section then click on help via phone. there should be a certain code only to you you can punch in to the phone that is for your account. do this instead of just calling the 1800 number because it will get you to a claims rep within 10mins.

is the dispute under "not as described?" if it is, buyer will win most likely. paypal has changed their policy that buyer will always in if the "item is not as described", im sorry to say. just tell him to return everything and give him a refund. don't deal with people like this. hes trying to make his money back it seems like. good luck!

Looked on paypal and almost impossible to find a number to contact a person.

Login to your paypal account > when it brings you to your summary page look to the right side and click "Contact Us" > Then click "Call Us" under Find Answers Here > You have a 6 digit web pin > call the number under that and when it asks for your web pin, type that in and you wait till will be like 5-10mins.

**NOTE: the web pin is good only for that hour time frame, after it resets
