Picked up some plasti dip and some gloss clear.
I experimented on some brackets 1st.
Each bracket has 2 coats of plasti dip. One of the brackets has 2 coats of Gloss Clear.

Here's mine w/ 5 coats of Plasti Dip. I'm still waiting for it to dry and add a few coats of gloss before I peel it off.

I did my wheels in white Plasti Dip a few months back, also added 2 coats of clear. It was nice but the texture of the Plasti Dip meant the white 'stained' and wouldn't stay clean. I took it off - very easy to do.
Much better use of Plasti Dip for emblems and small parts not affected by weather or dirt.

So you did plasti dip in white on your wheels? I was thinking about trying black on my white wheels.

^^Sure did. Bought 4 cans of white plasti dip and a can of clear. I did four coats of white on each wheel and two coats of clear. Had no issues and 1 can of white left over. It goes on nicely and comes off easy. It's not bad, but the texture (like rubber) made it too hard to keep the white clean. I'll probably just get them pc'ed.

hmmm. I'm not really crazy about the black/black combo. Black emblems look good on the brighter colors, but I like the chrome on bb. The contrast looks nice imo. If I get black wheels, there's a good chance I'll do this to the emblems on my spa ap1.
