Update 1/23/2007
Ok guys, I am still on my second set of these plastic lens. Here is an update on what I've learned:
1)
Take the metal piece inside the lamp OFF.

That piece of metal is the reason why the lens are burning. Why did they install it on in the first place? What is the purpose of the metal piece. Well, after taking the metal off, I found the answer to those questions. The metal is used to block the bright lights if you look at it from the side.
If you look at the light bulb from the front, it won't blind you. But if you look at it from the SIDE, the bulb is bright as hell.
They installed the metal to block your eyes from directly viewing the side of the bulb. I guess this is for road safety reasons, you don't want to blind other drivers.
But because of the metal, it collects all the heat from the bulb making it hot as hell, melting the plastic lens. Just take them off, the heat will transfer outwards as light source making the lens brighter (a little).
2)
You don't have to use sealant.
Sealant is messy. You have to wait 24 hours for it to dry before putting the bulbs back on, etc etc. Just too much work. For my second set of lens, I did NOT use sealant, I just put the lens on without any sealant. It does NOT fog up inside at all. I doubt any wind/water can get inside either. The lights are so hot any water will be dried off in seconds anyways. Been months, no water inside. You can do without the sealant.
