ok a little better here no huge improvement from last time but better than nothing, im getting retuned hopefully soon and with that hope to hit 13.7's. i have a huge dead spot in my tune right where i launch
60 ft. 2.232 1/8th 9.044 mph 81.95 mph 1000 ft. 11.667 1/4 13.905 MPH 101.76 mph my r/t's were pretty good too some of the best were: .029 .034 .064 .077 on the day

I am I/H/E untuned. So what do you think? I know I was late everytime off the line.. I left on the last yellow as oppose to the second last..

Best time tonight at Muncie dragway in IN. I was up against another Taffy EP3 w/A3, CAI, no pass or rear seats, & exhaust. My bro got it on tape. I'll see if I can figure out how to post the vid.

I had soo much wheel spin in 1st. I slept at the tree. I think she has a better time in her with a driver that can modulate the clutch well. ![]() What do you guys think? I'm suprised by the trap speed.

went to Western Sydney International Dragway yesterday...got a new PB and got the record for the fastest N/A DC5 in Australia! K20/24 FTW! this is only yhe first time out on the new setup, and i only got three runs...the best one being the following:

She does 11.8s very consistantly. In my last 9 passes she did all 11.8s for 7 out of the 9 passes. I think I can get her down to an 11.7 maybe 11.6 up here. i can assume that much. isn't there a post around here somewhere with a stock/basic bolt-on dyno sheet showing that max power is actually a few clicks before redline? i wasn't able to find it. i was shifting basically dead nuts at red so that might have been why.

there is, most of the time you want to shift so that the RPM drop is a couple of hundred rpm before peak torque.
another thing, weather is also a factor that could lead to different times

so your saying, when my tuner was only revving my car to about 7650, that is my peak power right? so i should shift around 8 so it can drop to around there right?

the Type-S is 8600, so that is 1000rpm off, that could account for it right there.
also, it is peak torque, not horsepower. torque is around 4500 to 5500 rpm normally and horsepower is always at the top of the range.
