If i had a CAD package at home and the stuff required to measure all the different parts i could do a model and get your views...the cool thing is you can also show animation once it is modeled
4-2-1 header or 4-1 header?
I'm looking to install a header within the next 2-3 weeks but I haven't made my mind up on which to go for. I was leaning towards 4-2-1 due low and mid range power gains. (I feel that's where my car lacks the most in power/performance)
Any suggestions, ideas, or comments.
Thanks
I personally willl be going with a 4-1 header when i get my header for my car...but dont want to get the header till Im ready with my Frank build due to the small block height difference.
It would take days of boredom for me to even think about modeling the block...that would be alot of measuring ALOT
Well for one its less spots for exhaust leaks to be able to form and because I will be wanting more top end power due to the fact ill be running a K24/K20 Frank build when I go to get my header for my car
So you'd also recommend the 4-1?
So let's say I buy and install the 4-1.
After doing so, I want to install a full cat.
Would it just fit right in? or would I have to replace and install the parts?
i can't stand emissions testing (just reading about it even). i've seen threads where the person passed the sniffer test with flying colors and had no CEL or anything but failed due to the CARB sticker on his intake being expired :face:
if emissions testing really is about keeping emissions down, wouldn't the car logically have passed? :dontknow:
I plan on getting a SSR custom racing header for my car when the time comes...about the october time frame ill be taking out a loan to get my frank build going and finished
same here - i'm so :jelly: when i see a kid younger than me owning a fairly busy performance shop. there's one in the area (can't remember the name :face: ) that's really popular with the supra crowd
damn. finally in. cliffs on new thread so far?
i read the last 5 pages of the last one so here are my comments...
-WTD josh i had no idea the trip meter thing could change brightness. i'm so used to mine i'm scared to change it :run:
-i have an 02 premium. heated leather seats, heated mirrors, the whole deal. they get used daily for 6+ months up here!
-i want an SUV for the winter/ summer canoe and camping trips
do it!! i can't wait to see one already. and the auto tranny should do perfectly fine with a bolton k24 comfortably i'd imagine. DJCarbine is turbo'd on his auto tranny with no issues so far (and says he romps on it)
Alabama has no mega cities but it has a LOT of moderatly sized ones. For the record a lot more people live here than you think.
