Tablet for Kpro

Does anyone know any tablet pc that will run kpro software?? will the ipad run it or would i need a windows one or android one, also is it even possible to tune your car with a tablet pc??? Just looking at purchasing a tablet within a few weeks for personal use but being able to tune my car with it would be nice too

No you just touch the screen and there is an onscreen keyboard that you can bring up.

Thats actually how one of my previous tuners does his tuning.

12" windows tablet and a touch pen. It was a rugged one though, not a pretty HP Slate.

yea because i have a laptopnand its not a big deal dragging the laptop to the car but if i could use the tablet it would be alot easier, especially dataloging

It would be awesome if hondata developed an android app for KPRO so it can be downloaded from the market onto your tablet. Same applies for iPad.

yea that would be amazing

even it cost but free would be better since we already paid $1000+ for the damn ecu, at least hook us up with an app

and honestly with the way technology is going they might as well start developing a app or something because everyone has an app now-a-days, because windows system is old school now, everyone is on android or apple systems today

I think it will happen eventually. Only concern is if hondata has any licensing issues (for android support). I hope not...

actually alot of top engineering firms are switching over to apple because of the ipads and apple computers, where i internship they just did the upgrade

i have most of the parts for the car computer but i don't think i'm going that route....... too expensive

plus i can only use it in the car....... the tablet can be used in the car and in class
