I used a rubber sleeve thats originally used for a PTZ(360% Moving) Camera. I used to install cameras.

Well for starters the correct word is BOOT not booth. Unless you type with a lisp then that's acceptable.

And I used the old zip tie method. works fine for me.

Hose clamp or worm clamp is probably the easiest. Here is mine with OEM collar inverted.

err...i took the OEM collar out of my boot, is there any way to put it back in so i can reattach it? i dont understand how the hose clamp works really, i dont see it in the pics...or how a zip tie would work either?

can someone explain this to me a little better,.. use a zip tie where exactly? what about this little plastic cover? help.. i have the type r shift knob and the boot will not stay up!

i just fixed mine.
i used a do-do aka (rubber bushing) from a skateboard truck.
the original hole in the do-do was a little small so i dremiled the hole a little bigger and now it fits perfect.
now my boot looks normal instead of hanging

nice dude haha time to cannibalize my old trucks...dude thats a real good idea, its the perfect solution. im guna start skating again too, i got back into it on a school retreat this weekend...good stuff

how exactly do i pull up that panel that has the shift boot on it? i got some of the clips up, couldnt get em all tho, if i just pull will it break?
