Hey guys I searched and nothing came up so here's the deal. I am about to purchase one of the two and PLEASE don't give me answers like "AEM because I have it and you should too." I want real legit answers on what the difference is. The pros and cons of each and differences and similarities. I haven't really heard much about Autometer Wideband and I'm guessing because they just came out. Apparently they have the same Bosch sensor correct me if I am wrong. Also to me it seems like the Autometer has more functions then the AEM wideband. Anyways I would like inputs from people who have Autometer and inputs from people who have AEM and would like to hear why they chose it and if they thought it was worth it! Thanks again guys and here's link to the gauges!
i agree about prosports, I had to replace my boost gauge sensor after about 2 weeks.
if I could afford it, it'd get a motec wideband. However, I'm gonna end up picking up the aem because it's available everywhere and I haven't heard too many bad things about em.
edit: I didn't even know autometer had a wideband, that's your call. I never really had any inclination to buy an autometer gauge, so I have no experience with it.
Hmm yeah I never even knew Autometer had Wideband till recently. I just want to stay consecutive with my Autometer Cobalt boost and oil pressure gauges that's why I ask. Function over looks though so that's why I'm asking input from owners from both widebands.
Ha np I think I'm gonna go with AEM, since it seems like no ones had problems with them whereas Autometer is new and might have glitches no one knows about yet.
I've had AEM, Innovate & Pro-Sport. I don't like pro-sport but aem and innovate match up pretty well.
