Are the FA510s worth it or would that be overkill? I feel like the 500s might not be that much better than what I have already but the 510s look pretty insane

I forget, are the 510s just 500s with swift springs or is it more aggressive dampening?

If the price is still higher than 500s with the swift springs I'd do the 500s with the swifts. And radial bearing upgrade.

Derek car is intense to drive on the 510s and his rates aren't even thaaaaaat aggressive. 18 14? I forget but if intend to occasionally take it on road going trips and whatnot I'd do 500s with yeah the swift upgrade and radial bearing upgrade.

Look into what the competitive folks are doing for rear rates and specific sway bars as well before you choose.

500s may be a standard progressive damper whereas the 510 are digressive.

At least I think so.

10k/16k F/R is a pretty good combination rates wise for the RSX without being too spine shattering.

Closest I can find so far is off mcmaster for 316L and its fucking $93.47 for one.

Yea I think Zach may be right on the progressive vs digressive. The 510 is the track coilover whereas the 500 is more street labeled.

Doesn't really matter to me unless they have fixed the collar design and beefed that up. Otherwise its gonna crack on you.

Plus both sides have broken now. All the tracks I've been to have been clockwise so you'd think maybe just the driver side would have the issue.

First time they broke was going into turn 10 (the swamp) at Gingerman which is a decent decline. Coming out the other side elevating it had already snapped.

Second time they broke was on the freeway after an alignment.
