Road to 400-500 hp k20z1 turbo build

I just bought a 2006 Rsx type s with 65k miles I'm planning on going turbo I want to be at the 400-500whp range but I also want it to be realiable I need as much feedback as possible as to which turbo kit to get and what internals need to be upgraded i know it also depends on who's tuning the car and I've found someone who's really good at tuning to get that done anyways I've done some research and people have been saying that the k20z1 block can handle 400-500 horsepower so I was planning on leaving the block stock and the only things I have right now are kpro and super tech dual valve spring and retainers I'm also getting a rbc intake manifold that's all I have planned for now can you guys help me decide what turbo kit I should get and what internals to upgrade and what injectors to get to reach my 400-500 whp safely thanks!

Ridgeback is an unknown quantity on c-rsx
Walking a reputable shop, open wallet, demand +400hp, leave car, return to pick it up.

Jk- lots of info on this site, and your path will be determined by you budget.

Interesting I did not know the z1 block was capable of handling that much stress. I'm going to bump my boost settings up. Lol.

Your Greddy kit will never reach that level. The turbo is too small and will max out around 350 whp

That is true! I will dyno it next month for the first time. I will be surpised if I make 300 whp! I heard that I can swap out the actuator spring for more power. Right now I'm boosting around 8 to 12 psi with a 3inch exhaust.

Here's something might interest you fellas. To me, this is like a Roadkill show! I helped a buddy with some left over parts in the storage on his 04' RSX Type-S..made 508.2hp (Mustang Dyno). It was a car that just sit around while we had our daily and weekend warrior. So we came up with an idea and gathered as much parts we can find around and order some parts. If it breaks, we gave Zer0 Fck ) More parts it is!

Motor is stock 140k miles: K20a2 Turbo 16lbs boost
- Kprov4 (Bought $1000)
- 1000cc injectors (Storage)
- Walbro 650 (Storage)
- NGK Spark plugs (Forgot what type, forgot gap about--Bought $40??)
- Fuel return line (Storage)
- Some Triple Plate Clutch (Stock 04' Type-S tranny! Tell me about it!!!--Bought $1200)
- Upgrade wastegate spring (Forgot how many lbs--Bought $$??)
- Blow off valve (Forgot name brand--Bought$$??) (Came one with the turbo kit, never used)
- Manual Boost (Storage)
- 3" Exhaust cat back (Off ebay, $200)
- Skunk2 ProSeries intake manifold (Storage)
- And finally: CX Racing Turbo Kit (Off ebay, not ebay brand--Bought: $1500??)
- Also E85

Might be more but this is what I remembered. But Holy Smokes..this fckr is fast. Actually smoke my buddies 500hp Evo 35lbs boost. (Roll race of course) He drive most of the time, I'd say 4 times a week around summer. I have drove 2-3hrs non-stop with no issue what so ever 1-way trip. Pretty sure, his cx pipe will crack when abuse in my opinion. Still on stock compression. Does not have lsd, and no coilovers (On drop springs). Tuner did say, we cannot exceed 16lbs boost but he was scared that the car might blow up on the dyno LOL But that's it. Mod the car sometime 2016 spring and still strong..problem is typical E85 cold start in the winter (Midwest).

THE END!
