Still dealing with this damn PS delete

Good news, I have the belt situation resolved. I just want to rip the lines out before driving and it's being a PITA. Lack of time and all these brackets

When I went EPS, I clearly underestimated the time it would take to remove all of the hydraulic lines. That is one modification I never wish to do again, I feel your pain sir...

That is why I am not doing it. Battery relocation was bad enough.

Forreal... I was considering throwing in the EPS now, but decided to do manual PS first. If it becomes too annoying, I'll just got my a shop I trust to get EPS installed lol. Car has been out of commission for almost a month now

Lol, this was me for the past 4 years until the high pressure hose failed. Probably easier just to swap a new hose lol

The battery relocation is a close second to the EPS on projects I never want to do again. I did them both back to back weekends and let's just say a lot of beer was consumed...

Hmm, I don't remember it being that bad. And 05-06 has a PS cooler line that runs in front of the condenser also. It's a little tight getting the rack out/in but the rest didn't seem bad. Had to wire in the Dakota digital speedo converter for mine as well.

Aww yeah... Done tuning with the upgraded nozzle?
Been working on the tuning, it's in a good place now. Pulling over 2000 on fuel on the top now and still hitting 11.5-11.6AFR. Seeing double digit IAT isn't uncommon at all, and last night with ambient temp at 74 after a pull I saw 89 degree IAT ha. With 12psi at 8500RPM on 750cc injectors I'm only at ~57% duty cycle with it activated. With it off I'm around 80%

I have a backup PS hose that I got from a wrecking yard. Its been sitting there for the last 8 years....
I think I can open up a shop and sell used RSX parts from climate control to fan resistor and engine parts...
I tell everyone that I don't drive the car to the ground, I drive parts to the ground and then change it.

I had the ps cooler as well. That got deleted with the k24 swap. I'm trying to yank lines without pulling crap, so the RH and heatshield are the main obstacles now. I'm down to the last bracket and it's a tight angle. Sad part, it's only the 2 lines from the pump I'm deleting ATM lol.

That's awesome bro! Glad to see things are going well. I'm sure the car must feel strong.

It's not as bad as I thought it would be. Reminds me of my first car, 1989 Ford Festiva lol.

true... that was the headache man, lol... When you are ready to do it, try to remove all the brackets from the lines. The high pressure line, I ended up cutting to get out.

The lower line, I had to remove all the brackets and disconnect the hard line that's held to the body where it connected to the reservoir. Once that was pulled, you can yank the bottom line from where the hard line was connected to the rack. Hope that makes sense...
