This seems to be my next car as it has almost everything i need.....300hp twin turbo RWD with aftermarket support and since it's going to be cheaper than a 335i that would be a plus..
so i'm just wondering if anyone else is watiing on this thing besides me.
i think the 135i looks like crap. but for the cost its got some pretty good performance. I would rather buy an Evo or Sti or save up a little more and buy the 08 M3
Don't know if this has been posted anywhere yet but from what I was emailed this car will definitely be the best bang for the buck imo. The person that I spoke with at BMW about this car said that the 128i would start at 28k Canadian dollars with alot of options to make it look like the 135i. Whereas the 135i would start at 42k with all the options already standard and obviously the better engine. But all this is subject to change so don't take my word for it.
I will just provide links to the individual pages from the .pdf file I received.

I can't see spending nearly double for the new M3. I would guess the 135i will be about 85-90% capable of what the M3 can do on the streets. Anyone know if there will be a dealer markup on these things when they hit the dealerships. I remember when the new mustang gts came out I seen some dealers marking them up by $3k.
For having a 300 hp twin turbo engine and being rwd I think 42k Canadian is not to shaby at all, seeing that a 350z starts at about 49k and and s2000 is around 47k. And lets not forget our ever soo loving Ontario tax of 14%.
I think I'm pretty much sold on the 135 already. I can't think of anything that would be so awful on the test drive that would change my mind. Except the price I suppose... :run:
Just special order it. They'll leave it with no options and deliver it in 3 months (once the initial demand is over, anyway). High dealer markups won't last.
