Hey guys i was wondering, what type of shift knob are you using, or which kind would u like to be using?
The reason for me asking this is because i am buying a B&M SS, and i dont want the stock shift knob anymore, so i want to upgrade. I have heard the heavier the knob the better? is this true?, also which shift knob shape do you guys perfer? thank u advance
yea after seeing the pics of the skunk2, next time I have some extra money i'm gonna pick it up. Although the tsx knob looks damn good, I dont think its very heavy.
When I first got the knob I was like WTF it's soooo heavy, but after I put it on it I was really impressed. It really helps push the arm in gear becuase the tendency is for a heavy object to fall over.
^^u need to rig that mother to hold up the shift boot!
but as for me i have the "tsx lookalike" knob achieved by buying an s2k knob (the leather titanium kind) and painting in the black lettering with red paint (thier both exactly same except for letter coloring)...its a lil heavy at 1st but thats deffinitely an advantage and i jus love it everyday i drive wit it, shifts feel much much better than with stock knob
I have the TSX knob...and I love it. Its matches the interior well and has just the right amount of weight. It also has leather on the side of the knob...so one those hot days...you don't have to burn your hand when shifting
