I need to get some JDM sealant around my throttle plate to seal the gap between the bore and plate itself. I noticed the factory throttle bodies have it, it's a black graphite/molybdenum type of substance. You basically apply it on and when the plate opens, it breaks away creating a near perfect air tight seal.
On my old throttle body, I checked and it was actual sealant and not carbon build up. I sprayed it with brake clean and it actually almost perfectly sealed the brake clean from leaking through. Once I was done wiping off the sealant from the factory throttle body, I held it up to the light, it has similar clearance as the throttle body I made.
So basically my dimensions and such are good/similar to factory, I just need the sealant to get that almost air tight seal.
