If you can't diagnose boost leak you shouldn't have a turbo'ed car. Check all your couplings, find the one that's leaking and tighten it

Obviously you didn't to it right... are you not getting boost when you are driving or just when you are sitting revving the engine?

ok so right now i have a 05type s with cai/rh. I planned to go n/a but decided i would rather go turbo, so i have a few questions seeing as i dont know to much about turbos. What all would i need for a good complete kit? I want to start small and eventually get to around the 300-350whp range.

thanks in advance.

Im debating going boost in my 03 dc5 so imma start doing my research on it. My power range i want to be in is around 300-350. I know the Greddy can handle up to 300 on stock internals. Can anyone point me in the direction of someone who might have a custom build in this range. I plan on staying stock for now and save up my money till i can better understand f/i.

edit: and now i feel stupid cuz i read the post above me... my bad, but if someone could still point me in the direction of someone making this power on a custom kit that would be greatly appreciated.

A quick look in the Turbo section of the forum will show you a half dozen build threads at a bare minimum... You could go peakboost, revhard/treadstone custom, fullrace... or search in the for sale section and I'm sure you'd come up with some kits for sale.

MrBurner,

what turbo kit should i go for on my base model RSX because i just found out that i can't put a supercharger in mine because they only make it for the type s. so i'm all ears on what you have to say, all i wan't is a turbo i don't need 100 more horses or anything just a turbo intercooler and a blow off valve to sound nice. so what do you suggest.

or anyone who REALLLLYYY knows what they are talking about.

1. Choose a power goal
2. Save about 8-10k
3. Mod car according to your power goal

Offhand I'm going to recommend the Peakboost kit, hondata and a 3" exhaust.

There are quite a few peakboost build threads in the turbo forum, browse through them and see what others have experienced.

Hondata
3" exhaust
Clutch
Fuel system
^ Absolute bare minimum

Full-race is the best, but you pay the most
Peakboost is good, and cheaper, basically a copy of Full-Race.....but they seem to have a 2-6 month wait time on actually getting the kit.
HKS kit is.......meh. fine for some i'm sure, just not quite the same power potential with low boost I don't believe.

Don't go turbo. The tranny is MUCH weaker than the engine.
