new kpro user help.. Car pooched.

Post copied from my thread in Hondata forums.

help!

2002 RSX base
40719
kmanager 4.3.2.0
37820-pnd-a06 2062-603593 0e07
Factory base rsx map with immobilizer disabled
Car has no mods. IM Ground is moved to cylinder head.

I am brand new to this, but I feel that I have done sufficient research and that I haven't done anything crazy. I bought a used KPRO 4 from a reputable member in CRSX. I plugged it in, loaded up a basemap with no problems and took it for a test drive and it felt great. Later that afternoon, I turned it on and got a CEL and was unable to rev past 4k. No codes from KManager or from my obd2 tool. I have cleared security and reloaded the kal multiple times.

While Datalogging, it doesn't lose connection or anything, but it seems "stuck." By that, I mean it constantly shows at 5421 RPM, moving at 52 MPH etc etc. None of the sensors update, and the graphs are just straight lines.

I still have my stock ECU, and the car runs fine when that is plugged in. I have verified that the daughterboard is firmly attached to the ECU and is not loose.

What do I do??

If you cant rev 4k rpm, you might have dirty ground connections. use break cleaner to remove all the junk. double check grounds are not loose.

Update: The light goes away after about 7-8 minutes when the engine has warmed up. Once it's warm, I can turn the car off and on without problem. I've been driving around with the lid off, and the bottom light blinks red when the car is in limp mode.

I've seen 2 codes. Daughterboard communication error, and p0134. I have not seen these at the same time. It's hard to make either one appear though. Either the car has no codes, or the car cannot be datalogged.

I just discovered this today so I will try to record something tomorrow.

What are the most important grounds? I've checked the one going to the cylinder valve and the one from the battery to under the fuse box.

Check the grounds from passenger mount, by the fuse box on engine bay, and tranny to chasis.
