fuse blowout

Hey guys, I'm a dumass....i blew the fuse on my turning signal/parking lights so my dash doesnt light up nor do my parking lights because i was attempting to install the new Genesis projectors and the wires messed up the fuse because i think i crossed them. At least my halos still work but i blew my fuse. How much does it cost to fix and if the dealer jacks up the price, where can i get a new decent fuse?

any auto store shoudl cost a couple of bucks maybe not even that much. dont go to the dealer i did and it cost me 400. THough i had a few other problems.

There are spare fuses in the engine bay fuse box.

u can get a box of 5-10 fuses at the auto store for around $2. just take out the blown fuse, bring it w/ u to the store, and buy a box of new ones.

Okay okay... I was trying to avoid having to dig this up, but here it is. All fuses (under hood fuse box) marked with a black dot are spares. Use one of these. Only buy more when you use these first.

open your fuse box and then turn the cover over and it labels the spare fuses and used fuses just replace a spare fuse i did the same thing when installing the halos i think its the 15amp fuse (blue?)

There is a label on the inside of the cover?? What will they think of next!

Damn, I blew a fuse and had to dig through the service manual... Good to know for future f-k ups.

ya my warranty for the dealer was in good use today, i got it fixed for free.... i am never going to try this again. I'm taking my headlamps to a pro cuz i hate this shit haha
