i use the absorber also. i think as long as your clean it after each wash you'll be fine.

i used to use it , but i have switched to using microfiber waffle weave towels. they are a little expensive, but work wonders. the absorber was good, but i really prefer the waffle weave towels.

I like the absorber. Make sure you clean it, because there is nowhere for the dirt to go.

isnt the absorber a synthetic chamois?

is it suppose to be any better than a chamois or what? I almost picked one up the other day but saw a huge chamois and got that instead. i must have 5 damn sheepskins :P

yes the absorber is a synthetic chamois, i found it worked better than real chamois, but still neither are as good as microfiber waffle weave drying towels.

The Absorber is safest if you blot dry, don't rub the surface.
There's no depth to the Absorber, so any dirt will drag if you rub.

I use the Big Blue microfiber towel to dry too. It's better, but since you already have an Absorber, it might not be worth it.

Agreed, the texture of the Absorber is almost like that of a "wet suit" for surfing or something. And dirt will drag if you rub.

You can get most of your car dry by hosing it down from the top and following the water down the sides of the vehicle. Any leftover water should be removed using something like the Big Blue...this towel is definetly worth the money.

Should I was the big blue every time I use it? How should I store it? I used it once (last Saturday) washed it, and put it in freezer zip lock bag to keep it clean.

i have heard...

good things about big blue, but haven't tried or seen the product yet. the absorber sticks too much and seems to be pulling off your wax. i use a synthetic chamois made by Water Sprite found at Napa stores. get the biggest one possible, should be about $20. it glides while absorbing effectively. it also lasts forever.

I have the Absorber...I like it too...

The Turtle Wax Emerald Series Miracle Towel is similar and cheaper...I use both.

Does anyone sell Big Blue in Canada?

I don't think you'll find Big Blue in stores, I ordered mine online. We are currently discussing this in another thread...check the links...

use it too dry my car everytime I wash it. After I go for a quick drive to help it "dry out" better.
