Front Parking light into turn signal

Anyone know how to make the current parking light into a turn signal?
What would be needed to do this?
Can I just wire the wires from the turn signal to the wires of the parking light?
Where it would still be on as a parking light, but when you switch on the turn signal, it will flash like a turn signal.

Based on that diagram, would connecting the positive wire from the turn signal to the negative wire of the parking light work?

I tried doing this, but I wasn't sure on what wire was postive and negative for the wires on the parking light and turn signal.

I assumed the black wire has negative, so I connected the green/white wire from the turn signal to the black wire on the parking light. When i did this, it blew the fuse for the hazard lights. I disconnected my connections and replaced the fuse, the hazards worked.

Any ideas? wrong wires connected?
