New Dupont Spray Wax
Want to know if anyone here have tried this too. Im a Meguiars user but wanna try this product (just becoz of its brand/name) so I bought both, the new NXT of Meguiars and this.
Tried Dupont first since Im assuming that it would be just one of those other waxes that would dull, go away or attract dirt, light dusts after some few days or weeks. (The gold class, after application give it like few hours I can see light dusts, few very light fibers from the towels used or just take it for a drive after the wax application, youll see right away dusts clingin on the body) So let me use this one first coz for sure Ill end using Meguiars anyway. Im wrong, right now NXT is still in the plastic bag. My car still has the luster and deep glow and its been almost 6 weeks by next week. (remember waxing last May 22 Sat). And based upon the conditions the car was exposed too, I think this product is a good buy. It still has its deep wet look.... Here's the condition of the car; its garaged, used 2 times in weekdays and only weekends. It seen rain thrice when twas used so I thought ah, now its time for to re apply (or probably wash the car now coz after the rain for sure itll be getting some dried soil around its body) for sure coz itll be collecting those soil/dirt from the road when it dries right? It didnt. 2nd rain, nothing... not even the dull marks of rain water that dried, no dusts even. Its hard to believe but this product i guess is really good. 3rd time it rained, same thing, hats off My only light dust maintenance is the Meguiars Final Inspection. I did like two coatings (application) when I first sampled the Dupont, easy to use, spray, spread then just buff and wipe it with a separate microfiber towel or soft cotton terry. Not hard to take off nor leaves whitish residue so ok since its just easy and no mess to use let me do a second coat and thats it. It doesnt attract that dusts that much, nor even after the rain etc.. not staticky too. This shit really works thats why I didnt mind giving it a long write up coz I think its worth it coz not every wax out there on shelves are as good as what they claim or gives amazing results, the bang for ur buck. (except for Meguiars) and not with this kind of condition that my cars usually goes through. Been using the Gold Class and Spray wax and I know the results right away whenever exposed to this kind of conditions. Of course during those rain outs I at least wiped my car with some Final Inspection (but only after some few days coz was lazy doing it and I was really expecting itll be collecting dirt anyway coz it was raining on and off during that week so rather wait till it rain stops, but judging from experience it works wells in repelling these natural contaminants dusts, rainwater marks, got bird pooped once but didnt clinged like the way they use to before, etc ) Btw, Final Inspection is one of Meguiars best well kept secrets on their product line up, cant see them on your local auto parts store (dont know why) you have to order them directly. Been using it since '99. For me, the Quik Detailer is not that all, really doesnt impress me the way F.I. works. QD for me is just like water, good for taking the dusts off but in maintaning that glossy shine that it claims it does, its the FI that really works. I still have QD, just uses it during drying time (before wax application) and dusts build up then I follow it up with the FI..try it and youll see the difference, the minute you spray and wipe youll know what Im talkin about. Ok, its been a novel now but hopefully soon I would have the chance to use the NXT once the shine and gloss goes away, when its hard and not anymore smooth to take away the dusts or water marks that clings on the car after rain outs or dusty days.. well, we know that comdtion when its really time to wash and wax our cars. Cant wait for this product to wear off in my car so in that way I could use NXT so to see how Itll match up with the Dupont's
