VNT turbo for base.

I had my heart set on JR SC but I just herd about VNT turbo chargers.
Then I recently came accross a shop that would install a custom VNT turobokit for my car. Since JR is taking too long and the idea that a VNT turbo is good at low and high end, ive got my mind set on VNT.

1st: Should I change my stock intake manifold to the Type -s and or civic?

2nd: Would the turbo manifold from CN work for this?(i don't know the make of the turbo yet) i think honywell, anyway i think he said it was for a 2.3L

3rd: Im leaning toward kpro but is there anything else that would be better?

Any Insight on this would be help.
