I know they can get the Apexi PowerFC but that is a bit pricey...i think its around 11-1300 bucks...not completely sure though.

But thats standalone so they can change any of the parameters...just like the k-pro.

But the PowerFC is a complete ECU replacement....you throw your stock ECU in the trash!

We have some celica people on this board...i'm sure one of them will chime in.

You cannot use the PowerFC on the 03 Celica GT-S because in 2003 Toyota decided to change it to an electronic drive by wire throttle system. Supposedly it was for better throttle response.

Don't go to Everythingcelica, they are a bunch of immature whiners over there, go to Newcelica.org for all your celica needs or info.

the rsx community is very fortunate to have the hondata line, theres no equal to it when it comes to celicas, no easy reflash, u need to get a farely pricey standalone fuel management application and have someone who knows what theyre doing tune it for you.

unfortunately there is no ecu upgrade for the 03 celica's and up
the power fc is for manual celicas only between the year's 2000-2002
i have a 2002 celica with the gimp red line so i decided to go with power fc
for about 1000 dollars you get a power fc ecu and a small unit called the fc commander.
with it you can change almost any engine parameter you want, including rev limit, vvt, vvtli engagment, af ratio etc.
before you had to pay for the commander, but know it is included with the ecu when your order through monkeywrenchracing.com
monkey wrench can also put a pre loaded map on your ecu depending on what kind of mods you have
the powerfc cant be compared to the hondata reflash.
a more fair comparison would be the k-pro
with it 2000-2002 celicas can be better tuned. right now im running about 180whp and 130wtq
