Hanabi HID kit installed

This weekend I installed the Hanabi 6000K HID kit. All in all, I have to say that I was such an idiot spending so much money on all those cheap bulbs. Even though PIAA super white was the best they blew up after 1.5 months.
This kit is sweet. When you turn it on it glows this greenish color. After about 5-10 minutes it glows blue-purple. Moreover, that kit is brighter than the stock TL kit (my dad got a TL so I compared) and brighter than BMW kits.
The downside is, now my fog lights which used to be bright are like crap (my foglights are by Hanabi too). I put my CATZ galaxy white bulbs on high beams and they glow pink now compared to HID.
Anyways, I really recommend this kit. It was pretty cheap too ($450 to get and isntall). I'm still waiting for the Wings West sides and rear and KC Aero rear spoiler, plus I got the Roja Xenon front end. So as soon as I'll mount it all I'll post pics

muxx is an unknown quantity on c-rsx
Did the HID bulbs fit in just like all the other H1's or did you have to do anything to get them to fit. Also who are the ballasts made by.

XenonDepot have HID in Group buy

Xenon Depot 6000K Xenon HID for $550, between this and the Hanabi, its $100 less. But Xenon Depot claims they can fit into OEM mounts without the rings. How does yours mount? Any noticeable brightness change?

Wink BAHAHAHA! Thanks guys!

1) Trust - your lights OWN! I am ordering the HID now, thanks a bunch for contributing to my financial doom with your über pic.

2) Yes.. she is angry.. She is angry that her light colours don't all match perfectly..

Oh well.. I'll slap HID on there. It'll go good with the OEM Fogs, PIAA 001 Fogs, and the Neon...

I like stuff with lights and buttons, and my girlfriend is attracted to shiny objects, so it all works out!

Talking hehe

I'm that dude that got an X-Box even though he already had a PS2 just because he didn't have a console in the bedroom too. Know what I mean? If it's electronic, and I don't have one, I want one! Just because!!

Is that a quarter on the floor? omg. *stoops*

Honestly, you don't need to have 4 foglights. If you get the HID's, you won't even need them. There's so much light it'll drown it out. The colors will never match unless you get HID fog lights, and that costs the same as the kit.

I like the neons though.

Trust - if you can tell me how to go about getting HID fogs I would appreciate it! I don't know if they're sealed, or what bulb type they are, etc.

It's cool - I know HID will probably kill the PIAAs, but it's a little late to get upset over it now - might as well leave them in place.

Thanks all!

Here is the post for the guy that rigged up hid bulbs to his foglights:

http://forums.clubrsx.com/showthread...&highlight=hid

They also do sell hid specific foglights.

Wow, thanks Trust. I wish the dude had told everyone what kind of bulb.

Yeah, what I really wanted was HID light coming from the stock fit enclosures... not riggin up some special thing into the slot with brackets, etc. I hope I can get a hold of that guy!

HID 4ever!

HID in OEM Fog

Would the HID melt the OEM fog? The OEM fog already have some cracking problems. Any thoughts, but it does look so damn nice...

Melt? No dude - the bulb will not get hot enough to heat the enclosure to the point that the glass/metal melts! :shakehea:

=)

....and yes, it looks very nice.
