Just got K-Pro. EuroEP3-R But i am worried..

Worried that i am running seriously lean..
I have AEM CAI, SKUNK2 Catback, TODA RH and now k-pro with Aarons tuned cai map. As we dont get the wide band lambda (Narrowband) here in Europe. there is no way that i know of to somehow get my A/F- readings. i know there are gadgets out there for an xxx amount of money but does anybody know if there is any other way to get readings, like volt convertions or something.. Someone?

I've adapted my K-Tools to be able to use the Secondary O2 voltage for calculating A/F. But I'm unsure if this requires an aftermarket sensor, or uses an existing sensor input.

Can you post up a datalog? I'll be able to tell from that...

yea like alan said the secondary sensor is a narrowband. it only reads from 14.6-14.8 or there abouts.

Alan, don't you have plenty of discussion on work-around for this issue at the Civic Type-R board in the UK? If so, Alex is more likley to find an answer there.

Hey, haven't seen you around much, old lad. What's been keeping ya?

AEM’s Wideband UEGO Controller

This looks to be the popular choice...

yes conrad busy with tax returns -31 January was the deadline but thats over now so ive more free time now

the ctr site has a couple of guys who have wired in the sec 02 with a wideband and then converted the voltage to the equivalent a/f
workd quite well and they also have realtime digital /analogue displays on aem units for example

i think its important that a/f is monitored on the ep3's -my own soln was a plx wideband in the 3rd bung on the toda race header -cant datalog but i get realtime display and cleverly can sync a vid of the a/f display against a kpro datalog

im busting to move to move to the next n/a level which appears to be itbs, the ips cams are very intersting but with toda already im not sure that the change is cost effective

the crower cams seem to be throwing out a lot of n/a power too

no doubt a very special year for the kseries i feel

trying to be patient!

hows your own modding path coming on?
