First ITR impressions :)
SOrry it took so long. lots of little things missed. lost of spirited driving to get this bitch of a ECU to learn it self.
1st off this was the first time ive everydone anything this far. It pays to have great friends who know alot of shit ![]() Diedra and chris even talked me thru some parts on the phone and AIM. gotta love crsx ![]() We lost 2 days ( well 6 hrs ) removing everything to get to the timing chain cover only to find out and learn another way to do the install plus doing this each day after working 8 hrs isnt fun other then that the install was so so the hardest part was gettin the cams back in the chain and in time. we had to do that 3 times we kept gettin out of time by a few teeth after the install and installing the ecu i learned one important thing CHECK VALVE CLEARENCES. MAN WE HAD TO PULL EVERYTHING APART AGAIN CUZ IT KEPT STALLING AND IDLING REAL BAD. AND WOULDNT RUN REAL GREAT. so that set us bck 2 hrs we had to let the engine cool and do the valves ok got it all back together started it up everything sounded great. it idled at wamr up at about 4-500 rpms. we thought we messed up. we took it for a ride did a few 8800 shifts ( scared the shit out of me i was holding my breath) The ECU is just like a female. it wouldnt make up its mind and took about 30 min of good driving to settle down the vtec cross over is harder hit on the itr reflash then on the hondata 4 once it hits 5200 it kinda lags a sec til 5400 then throws you back in your seat. kinda jerky like old school vtec not smooth like #4 it does fuckin rock past 6000. 7000 and on it pulls like a mofo almost scary. its about 55 60 degrees tonight at midnight and we were on a stretch of highway running with my buddies gsr swapped del sol and my other friends turbo lude. at 7k its nuts alot of fun all in all ill never do this install again im gettina race header.and a guy on base here his POP owns a machine shop that does P&P\ so he is hooking me up for 200 bux to P&P tommarow i dyno it stay tuned oh yeah soryy for the shitty right up im freakin tired. and i have som epics but real crappy and ill try to get them up

Alright Joe, sounds like you are loving it. Wait till you get an exmani on there. It is going to change even more. I still remember when I put the Toda on, it was a pretty dramatic difference. The whole powerband was increased and it just felt GOOD!
