Exclamation Frankenstein K24a1(*CRV) + Type-S Head K20a2

Anybody as info on this swap into rsx
I am putting together the most info possible to build the perfect set up for this swap I already spoke to Brian Crower here's the scoop :

Go .5mm on the valves (int and exh).

CP offers an 87mm bore shelf, you can sleeve up to 91mm on a street
application. 12.5:1 is a good comp ratio.

300 HP is possible with proper tuning. Kpro ...

Any sugestions for this non turbo set-up !!!!

Stock mounts, with a CRV passenger side mount (or custom spacer on the existing passenger side mount). This was discussed recently.

The gears are too short for that setup. I just bought a type R tranny off a guy with a k24a2 and k20aR head swap in his civic hatch b/c he wanted my stock type s 6 speed. He said he had to launch in second gear at the track and still lost traction in 3rd.

You made the right choice, although I might have wanted the six speed, the five speed is perfect for dragging.

nice set up. i will be pretty similar to you. 87.5 mm CP pistons, pauter rods and IPS cams with all the goods. i hope you dont plan on running that daily though. 12.5:1 compression is way high. especially in cali where we only get 91 octane pump gas. i went with 11.5:1 compression. should be done in the next 2 weeks or so.

Good luck and definately post some numbers.

Pretty sweet. I hope those are stage 3 cams. You will be running into some breathing issues, regardless.
