DC Race Header Check Engine Light

I went to autozone and had the light checked out. It said, " O2 Sensor no activity (bank 1 sensor 1). As I posted in a different thread, I used the anti-fouler trick, do you think I should bore it out a little more, since it is getting absolutely no reading? I don't think the 02 Sensor is damaged, since the light goes on and off, so maybe it is simply loose? Anyone's help would be appreciated.

My light does the same thing on my 05. I don't know what the hell is up with it. Don't really care since I have a ITR cat for inspections.

The bore on the non fouler should be the same diameter as the inside of the non fouler. If you did not make it big enough, the o2 sensor is most likely hitting the end of the non fouler and that my have damaged your 02 sensor. Just something to think about. It also just may be that it is loose.

Bank 1 Sensor 1 is your Primary o2 sensor. The anti-fouler thing or any other sim should go on the secondary o2 sensor leaving your primary o2 sensor alone. If you didn't touch your primary o2 sensor, then it's shot and you need a new one.

your primary is fucked. either ur connector for the primary is not connected or loose or its burnt out. i had mine burnt out, dealer replaced it b/c i found a dealer where they dont care about mods. the o2 sim u made is actually working correctly on the 2nd o2 sensor, be happy about that, but a busted primary is expensive to replace.

i have no CELs now (knock on wood)

I had some guy look at it really fast, cuz i've been so damn busy and haven't had time to seriously look at it. He said my rear O2 sensor is hitting the body and probably loosening it or maybe has damaged it. I'll take it somewhere to check it out. I just don't have time to fully inspect it myself. Thank god for clubrsx!!!

no problem

they will come in a back of two for like $5... labled 19mm i think.
drill one out to 1/2 inch bore, fit your o2 into that one. then screw the nonbored one on the end of the bored one, and swrew the asembly in the cat. there is a good post with photo's here somewhere. do a search for "spark plug non-fowler"
