Red Carpet?

is there any way to dye your interior carpet red like the Type R? i dont wanna pay 300+ for a carpet thats been ripped out of another car only to have holes on my passenger side where the old pedals used to be. i'd rather dye mine red, but i dunno how to go about it or what kind of dye to buy(or even how i should apply it?

i figured i'd probably have to get like a little pool or something and leave the carpet in bleach first and then place it in dye overnight or something..

Dude if you can really bleach out the color, Im sure the red dye would make it look fantastic and close to the same. Bleaching out the old color seems hard.

One time I left my dirty shoelaces in a cup of bleach and swirled them around. Ten minutes later they were even more yellow. I guess I dont know how bleach works.

well, i figured if i didnt bleach out the old color, then it'd probably just come out really really dark red cause of the original black. not sure though, i've never really used dye. thats why i was asking. i'm not doing this yet as i just bought the car and i'm not sure i wanna start fucking around with it right away. soon though, soon..

yeah the dark red wont look good imo, but if you can bleach it out the red is going to look killer.

Hell I would do it right now but my cars ABP so the red carpet would not make sense. I dont know if dyeing it blue would be ricey but red is still hot cause its more JDM.

I wouldn't even try to bleach out your carpet if its black, try buying a used tan color one and bleach that one and re -dye it red. That should work. Good luck though
