DIY: Request for DIY changing rear license plate bulb....

Since, I don't want to mess anything up on my 06 RSX, pics. and how to change out your rear license plate bulb..... Thanks...

seriously? i mean you really cant mess much up changing the rear liscense plate bulb.... maybe you should take it to the dealer

Ok if you take a look at the light, you'll see that it's built into this black housing/bracket thing. That's just clipped onto the bumper so push that towards the front of the car, and the entire assembly should come off. You could use a flathead screwdriver and push the light off that way, but be careful not to damage anything. From there it's a matter of unplugging and removing the cover to access the bulb.

Shop manuals are roamin around here too....although I'd think this wouldn't be that hard although sometimes the little things can be tricky if you're not very mechanically inclined

doesn't it kinda blow that theres just a big gap or hole in the bumper? how ghetto... my GF was like "um why is there a hole in your bumper? I can see the bulb and stuff" and I was like "iono, they cheaped out

What bulb did you use? I replaced mine with a white LED a while ago, but it's starting to look kinda blue and a lot dimmer.

i did this with an LED light and it didnt cover the whole liscense plate..any links to the kind u guys bought?
