NJslvrtypes's Full Race Pro Am Twin Scroll Build....

Since Blueshark123's project is done and out of our hands, I'm now focusing on finally finishing my car. Its been a long time in the making and I've been screwed over by a lot of vendors, sites , and even CRSX members. SCI stabbed me in the back twice which has delayed this project over a year. Now I'm happy to say there is nothing but the best going into this car.... Full Race!!

Here is a rundown of the final setup:

Full Race Pro Am T4 Twin Scroll Manifold
GT4094R 1.06 Housing
Twin Tial 44's
3" FR DP/ 3" Exhaust
Precision 34.5"/10.5"/3.5" 825HP Intercooler

GE Sleeved Block 87MM
Pauter Rods
Wiseco 9:1 Pistons
ARP Headstuds/OEM TSX Headgasket

Dual Bosch 044's
Dual Aeromotive 100 Micron Filters
Custom Aluminum Pickups
Precision 1000CC Injectors

RBC/Stock Cams
Supertech Valvetrain
Clutchmasters Twin Disc/ Base RSX 5 Speed

Thats most of the setup and everything should be finished in the next few weeks. The finishing touches will be done by Jeff Evans and tuning will commence shortly thereafter...

Big thanks too - Geoff/Lloyd at Full Race, Mike at Laskey Racing, Andrea/Jeff at Evans Tuning, and Jeff (Blueshark123)

Heres some pics I'll update the thread as I make progress:

Twin Scroll is also referred to as divided housing. It basically separates exhaust gas pulses from each cylinder firing order pair to spool the turbo. Notice the runners and how they divide into two seperate sides that coincide w/ the turbo. This makes the turbo spool much quicker and in fact there is a dyno floating around H-T where a 40R makes power sooner than a 35R.

Crank arrives home next week, block should also be done early next week and then its time for assembly.

Fuel system is almost done, only thing left is about 2K more in parts

you should use the crv headgasket same water holes built in it as a k20, but if you already bought a tsx one, that will work fine

bad ass man glad to see your car is coming together! also since you're running this twin scroll dual wastgated manifold i guess you no longer have p/s or a/c or does it just take a lot of modification?

Nice build NJSlvrTypeS. In a few years I'd like to do a build similar to this but with a K24. And Mast3rmind this kit retains ps and ac

damn, yeah just ordered an oem tsx headgasket. I had a cosmetic on the previous build but I was not impressed w/ the water holes size and placement.

sure anytime, motor should be together and installed within the next four weeks.

the kit does retain ps and ac but we will see what modifications are necessary. I've honestly never seen one of these manifolds installed on an RSX.

yeah, let me know hopefully I get my parts and can start blueprinting next weekend. that pic will save me a lot of test fitting and tearing apart.

mounted the filters and ran the lines under the car today. just waiting on a sending unit I ordered from a CRSX member to do the pickups. Its been 7 days know, might have another problem we'll see.

setup is dual 8AN pickups, dual Aeromotive filters, Y'd into a 10AN single main feed.
