Yes they will work, might need to cut or roll your rear fender depending on your drop.

as stated, it will fit but you'll need to roll/cut your rear fender depending on how low you go and your camber settings

Ditto. I'm running 18x8.5 with a 42 offset. I rolled the rears just for added clearance but didn't rub. I just knew by looking at it that if I pushed it hard enough I'd have a chance of rubbing.

Now that I rolled the rears I'd rather have a lower offset. Clearance isn't an issue with mine on the fenders. It's the inside lip of the rim hitting the lower control arm. It rubs the control arm every time I hit a large enough bump.

You will be fine as long as you aren't slammed (I guess anything over a 2 inch drop)

You DO NOT want to get 245/40....
One reason is that it probably won't fit
Another reason is the HUGE difference in diameter compared to your stock tire
Anything over a 3% difference is a NO-NO (it will throw off speedo too much, may cause brake failure, etc)

check it out bro
The first to the left is the stock tire off of an 05+ type S....If you go 245 you will need to get a 35 profile due to the little difference in diameter

ooo and heres a pic of my setup just for reference

Yes that setup should fit, no prob. Just make sure your car's not slammed 2+ inches, try to go for 235's as well.

Just looking for some help with my wheel purchase too. Had a few questions about offset and wheel size. Was wondering if these would fit.

18x8
Offset +35 Front/+40 Rear

Will I have to roll my fenders? Any possible chance of rubbing?

That will work, might need a tad camber if your lowered more than 2.5 inches
