Its funny how all these people on here say that a bolt on rsx walks 350z's and bla bla bla, yet always in videos one with a basic mod like intake is exactly even. With a plenum spacer and exhaust he would have been walking away slowly.

That's a good point, Telesong. The 05-06 would be a little faster, and both 02-04 and 05-06 would be even faster with k-pro and a tune or different a race header. However I'd rather have a 350Z than an RSX Type-S, and the newer Zs are even faster. Still, it's a comparison of a modified car and a nearly stock car. Good races, though. I thought the 350 won most of them, but they were pretty close.

Yupp he was losing a few hp beacuse of his stock exhaust. This video was edited and filmed by me, and Nick the rsx driver is my buddy. The 350z had an intake and later we found out from another 350z owner from the 350z forums that this guy had a plenum that night. No excuses he lost but with only a popcharger on the z my homie would have walked him. With that said, an rsx with this setup will walk a stock or intake z.

depends on the year of the 350z.

A 350z with comparable mods will always walk away from the rsx.

ps- plenums are hard to catch, not surprising you didnt see it.

Its a spacer you put in your plenum, they usually range from 3/8" to 1/2" and are just a thin layer of metal. You have to know what you are looking for to see them.

we were just excited that day after the runs. I had seen the evo guy many times before and never wanted to run so things were said in the car becuase of some excitement. The video was about 3years ago so give it a break. Also the evo guy did punch it but wasnt a race, just messing around.
