When i clay my NHBP Si i use the soapy method. I do one section at a time and constantly knead the clay to a clean surface. After claying i re-wash the car and the proceed with the polish/prep with Klasse AIO and thean seal aka wax with Klasse SG.

Go here to be enlightened on detailing:

I wonder if everyone just started using the dilute soap as clay lube after the ONR. Cause since you can use the ONR for QD, Clay lube and a car wash ???

sorry, but it is REALLY easy to mess up the paint on Hondas with a clay bar. Our paint is super soft.

Marring is the biggest danger - especially on white.

1:1 water/shampoo mix works really well. mild clay and no presurre on the bar when claying. if you hear any grit sounds, wipe down the panel with MF and pick up cany bits from the bar.

to make the clay last much longer before it breaks down, rinse it off with water and dry with mf before kneading.

you can ease the claying process with a quick pre-wipe down with a paint cleaner.

Hey just wondering, when should I stop using a piece of clay? I used like half of a small packet per car but I think I can still use it. Any pics?

I finally used this. It took about 3 hours since it was the first time. I should cut the time to about 1 1/2 next time. I thought claying was going to clean the oxidation ect...... but once you apply-you realize how in-grained with contaminets your paint truly is. A great product and yes your paint looks new.
