Gas prices predicted to hit $2.25/Litre thats $8.00+ A GALLON!!!!!!!

OK I am just pissed right now....wow 8 bucks a gallon and 2.25/litre in a couple of years thats retarded ...thats just bull fucking shit. All plans for getting a nicer car have just gone down the drain. I heard this on the news yest. and after doing some background checks from sources working in banks it has been confirmed in 2010 - 2011 the "prediction" is we will be paying 2 dollars+ a litre of gas which is approximately 8 bucks a gallon for REGULAR 87 octane. Fucking gayd

1 Us gallon has 3.785 litres which is equivalent to 8.516 dollars per gallon for 2.25 dollars per litre. Never thought the day would come when even a v6 would be too expensive to own.

Scooters here we come. Some one is fucking making a killing out of us.

heres a link each and everyone of us will need
http://www.fueleconomy.gov/FEG/bestworst.shtml

God just thought Id spread the word, if your planning on that german sports sedan or something v6 which demands premium gas, just stop and think about how much it will hurt that wallet of yours.

Gone are days of the V8 and the V6 or the I6

i never said they were, but there was a certain level of joy in owning one. This sure as hell takes all the fun out of it, thats all. might as well buy an entry level gas saver and call it a day.

Prius' are still vehicles that are sold for the image rather than the financial benefit.
A Golf TDI or a Honda Fit or even a 2.2L Chevy Cobalt (class leading 36USMPG) would cost much less than a Prius would upfront, have minimally more fuel consumption, and the money saved could be put towards renewable energy or efficient appliances if you are as green as a Prius owner will claim to be, or the money can just be saved. Not to mention there's no battery to replace.

W3rd like a mofo. Don't forget that building the Prius is more harmful on the environment than building and driving an H1 hummer for 10 years, due to the lead in the battery's. THINK GREEN RIGHT CELEB's?

Being a chemical engineering student, I have learned a ton about how things really work. I believe that an independent company is going to start designing hydrogen cars soon. At least, I hope they don't sell out to a big oil company. Similar to how Dupont bought a patent for an indestructible tire made out of kevlar. I wonder why a rubber plant would want to buy something like that?

BTW - My dad's friend who lives in Dubai can fill his suburban up for less than $10.
