Nice, but why did you go with the MSD 3 bar instead of the Omni or Hondata 4 bar?

Personal preference. Going to keep it somewhat conservative for now (I know, yeah right when you start looking at 400HP), but I think the MSD will work for what I'm looking for.

The deliveries never came! CRSX was great getting my stuff to me quick (ordered Tuesday afternoon), but FEDEX screwed up my shipping so I had to go pick it up after work. You have NO clue how excited I am.

Its all good man. I actually have the MSD 3 bar as well, but that was because the 4 bar was not out yet and it would have saved me from having to splice the wires since it is plug n play ready.

Not having to do any more wiring would be nice, but it did save me a few pennies that I can spend on other parts.

Subscribed. Good luck on your build. I been trying to read plenty build threads before I go out and buy my own kit before I start one myself. Seems like the Peakboost is a decent kit I wanna run with, maybe the GT35R and don't expect to do over 400 myself since I'm still on a budget

If you read the link in the beginning of the thread, Woot installed the 35R and was pushing over 500HP. I'm keeping the block stock for now, so the 30R should be ideal for the power I want/not spending more than 10k on the build/daily driving.

If all goes well this morning, the Innovative mounts will be in, but I gotta help my buddy fix his Speed 3 exhaust first.

Thanks for the good luck guys. This is my first major import build, used to working on a Chevy, so it should be fun!

Sounds like we're gonna need to get all the PB guys in Cali to meet up...

yet another peakboost build, lol. Looks like we are taking over huh.

Good luck with the build. Fitment is exact. Kit works well. I enjoy mine. Relocating everything during the install and trying to keep things clean is a bitch though, lol.

Nice dude.

Thanks for the kudos in post #1! Figured I might as well make my build thread as detailed as possible since no one else had done a PB build yet at the time. Or the couple guys that had, just had them installed by shops. Glad to see people usin' it.

This is like deja vu lol. Good luck on your build and keep it clean!

Thank you for the motivation/inspiration.

Tried doing the mounts today, but ran out of time as my friend's exhaust job didn't go well and took up most of the day. We were both drained after that, so we're heading back out in the morning.

Going to do some more parts shopping in a bit, so I'll update my list later tonight.

With the GT3076r when do u expect the car to start spooling and when do u roughly expect to hit full boost at? How many psi are you looking for and what numbers do you expect?

This will be my first turbo, so not too sure about when exactly it will start spooling, but I'd like to have the boost kick in roughly around the same time as VTEC, this way I can maintain some traction but still have lots of room in the RPM range for VTEC/boost power. I should be able to clear 400HP with some ease, but 400 is my number until I can do internals. Since this is my daily driver, I plan on running between 10-15lbs of boost, I'll adjust it here and there depending on who pulls up next to me at the light.

I got both sides and the front mount in yesterday, just gotta get them torqued down to spec. Pretty easy, holes lined up pretty good and could really feel a difference in the car. Can't wait to get on that throttle.

The rear mount I'll probably do Wednesday or Thursday night when I put in my new O2 sensor and then plug in Kpro.

Some pics from the mount install, little blurry but I was using my phone to take them.

Stock driver side mount

Compared next to the new mount

In the car

The only issue I had was the front bolt on the mount that is almost under the battery tray. Just had to fudge around with it to get it in all the way.

Passenger side mounts compared

Passenger side in

My buddy that helped has some more pics that I'll get when I get back to work, had a great shot of me giving him the bird while I was laying under the car on the front mount and he was working on it from the top!
