Yeah just give it a shot and see if you like it. You might gain a little mph out of it too!

With 12psi in them, do your slicks wrinkle at all under the weight of the car?

Yeah but no where near the wrinkle of 7psi lol. I remember when I ran the car that night at 7psi, boy did she shake when I hit the brakes.

Has anyone ever tried doing burnouts in 4th gear then just for the hell of it or is there really no point?

4th gear on the stock 6 only goes to like 120 so you could porbably do it on that trans. Doing the burnout in 3rd on the PPG trans at like 122mph you can feel it kinda lag for a sec before they break loose, I think 4th would be a little overkill if its even doable.

Talked to the guy at M & H and with their slicks they are supposed to be ran at 10psi - 8 psi .. So I always ran mine at 10 and was fine. They wrinkle a bit but thats normal.

I will run them at whatever psi helps me to get 1.6 60's lol. I've tried anywhere from 7 to 9psi ill try maybe 11 to start next time.

What do you mean? I run 14 lbs in 1st and then 17lbs in 2nd and up. It already has some struggle holding traction in 1st just at 14lbs.

Oh, that's not a difference in boost. Just two different dynos. June 2008 I got tuned on a dynapack and made 525. In may of this year I retuned on a Superflow roller dyno and it made 440whp. I think next year I'm retuning on a dyno dynamics or dynojet.

Question
I was looking through everyone's setups in the 10's and low 11's and while everyone is running similar setups in terms of horsepower, weight, transmission, and slick sizes, I couldn't help but notice this:
10.84@128 - JO TECH/ Puerto Rico/ CP 9:0:1 Crower rods/Custom turbo kit pt-67/ 525whp@24psi/ 26x10 / rsx type s tranny w/lsd the member in puerto rico was running a lot less horsepower, nearly 100whp less in fact than most (granted that can vary depending on which dyno he was tuned on). But more noteably he was still on the stock 6-speed and bigger slicks (instead of the 24.5x8.5x15 that everyone else is running). So I guess I'm wondering are all of these features a lot better for accelerating the rsx? Or are their other major factors involved (like driver mod or is it gutted? I don't see a weight listed). Just wondering...

Could also be driver. Shit I ran my 10.8 on my 6th pass ever on race gas. I am by no means a great driver. Im sure with a better driver my car could have been propelled into the low 10s especially with 26 inch slicks.
