well for a V8 4.0L isn't that big.... for the new M3.. and the fact that is reaches 8300rpm and has 120hp/L which IMO is just perfect...

yeah, its not that big..compared to a 7 liter dodge engine..

but...considering the M series started with just over 2 liters of displacement and the newest one has almost DOUBLE that, i'd say thats considered a larger displacement homoligation of the M series.


but yes, youre right, everything is relative.
