Maybe power Josh. I've put these gauges in my car and a Speed3, and the Speed3 was picky about where you got power from.

Can't remember where I pulled my power from though...think it was IGN.

haha yeah i just ran one wire to the fuse then split all the other 3 into one. then ran all the grounds to the engine bay and the dimmer to the headlight. works just fine except when the turbo timer is working the guages stay on till the car shuts off

Google add a fuse for images Josh...they plug into the place of an existing fuse in the box, then have two slots, one for the original fuse and one for whatever you're wiring into it. Then you also have a wire coming off it, connect that wire to the gauges for power.

http://images.google.com/images?hl=e...-8&sa=N&tab=wi

Pretty sure it was IGN I used. If that doesn't work, you can always pull it out and try another power source off the fuse box.

Very easy...a little ghetto maybe, but works fine for me. And if by any chance I go somewhat back to stock, at least my wiring won't be all spliced up.

If you can't find it Josh, let me know and I'll run out to my car. I don't have all my dash trim back in, so it'll be easy to look.

they are different colors most likely because the voltage or something is dropping as you put more on that one wire.

Try to find a new, stronger source for the lights and that should fix the color fading issue.

Sorry i'm not too technical, i'm not an eletrical type person, i just no the basics/concepts of some things.

I found the IGN wire under the steering wheel... i have a wire spliced into it, i think it goes to my hondata boost control solenoid... anyways...

I tried moving my boost gauge power wire to the ign, leaving the other 2 gauges on the 12v and nothing changed. i even tried moving the grounds because the brightest gauge was on its own ground behind my dash while the other 2 shared one...

idk what to do they don't look different when i connect the wire to light them up amber

Hmmm...not sure then Josh. I only ran the light for a little while before I put it back to amber all the time. I'm also colorblind, so I probably wouldn't really notice it if the white was slightly different across the gauges.

The only other thing I could say would be to hook all three up to the IGN and see what it does.

Tried a few different combos with power and grounds... nothing.

now when i connect the orange wire to light amber for all 3, they all have the same shade.

im about to say fuck it and make them amber all the time even tho i cant read them for shit if there is any glare

the guy actually told me that he puts down 300whp... he works at velocity trends, a local shop here.. and is fucking with the dyno all day....
he was a little sneaky... he put only 1 gallon of gas to race me.... I had a full tank

I wanted to shoot myself yesterday.

Stupid B-Series cars. Distributors, FTL.

Two bad ones in a row, then the customer's car ran out of gas (since evidently his gauge didn't work...)
