Peakboost

I am about to buy a Peakboost kit for my 06 Base and I was wondering if anyone has this setup and what they think about it.

The price is right and the potential for upgrades down the line are endless. Only complaint I had was that I waited a couple months after ordering it before I got it.

You'll get over it as soon as it's running great again. Happens all the time man, can't get down on it

Anywho does anyone know why it takes soo long for these kits...like are they understaffed? Material shortage?

both, they have been busier lately than they ever have been. Then when you are fighting with distributors to get everything together sometimes things lag. I am waiting on a couple things from them myself and I never had to wait in the past.

Old manifold had the wastegate on top of the manifold and had some clearance issues with smaller frame turbos. They required a longer center section turbo than the new kits do. I would go with the new kit on the old kit personally. Also, you have to remove the hoodliner to run the old manifold.

no, the kit is still good, I am just being nit picky on it. I am telling you the sole differences in the kits. Its still a good kit, I had it on my car until Ken offered to swap mine out for the new manifold
