looks like hes first going to rebuild a stock a3 bottom end, then build another motor which i would assume still be a 2.0L since he likes the high revs. sounded like he was hitting 9k+ regularly on a stock oil pump

I take my 2.4 always to 8200 when I race and on regurlar drivng I only take it to 3500 and I am always in front of traffic I don't see the point to take it so high

i wouldnt know the difference, ive never been able to rev that high. i came from an h22 prelude, 8200 is the redline on that pig. rsx ive never taken past the redline either. if you cant take a k24 over 9k i wont be misssing anything anyways

Tsr70 kit with a cosworth longblock and a ppg gear 5 speed trans a little over 500 I sold everythng due to financial problems tried to keep my condo but I ended up losing it I still have new parts for sale if anyone needs some

What needs to be done to make 9,000 rpm revs safe on our motors?
