Alright, well since my last build thread maxed out I suppose I'll start this one with a link to the original.

I installed the boot, adapter, and knob a week or two before the Revo SS. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Used a staple gun to attach the new boot just like the factory boot is. ![]() ![]() ![]() Used safety wire for the adapter instead of the zip tie it came with. ![]() Pics of the knob, adapter, and boot installed pre Revo SS. The Revo SS install pics are on a different camera, and I'll probably post those in the next few days. ![]() ![]() Couple weeks ago I pulled out my second blown tranny. It was an EP3 5 speed that I had used to replace my first broken tranny, which was the stock 6 speed. ![]() ![]()

Old trans off.
![]() Old stage 4 clutch, I replaced it with a new one when we isntalled the PPG trans. ![]() ![]() Old pressure plate. ![]() ![]() Fucked up my finger in the process. Shit was bleeding all over the place. ![]() ![]() ![]() Zip lock baggy bolts organization. ![]() ![]() ![]() Then last Friday the first trans I blew, my original 6 speed, was done being built back up with brand new oem parts that I still needed to run with the PPG's. And the PPG's were also installed and ready to go. Pics of the original blown 6 speed. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Installed the new trans Friday, not too many pics really but.. Brand new stage 4 clutch went in with it. ![]() Big Brack came over to help out. Big thanks to Brian for building the PPG trans down at the shop and getting all the oem stuff rebuilt in there and everything handled over the last few months. ![]() New trans bolted up. ![]() First start up. ![]() And a couple video clips with the new gears in the car. I was going to sell the car after I blew my 2nd trans but my friends and family helped out in the purchasing of the PPGs because they did not want to see me sell it. Big thanks to them, as I'm glad I still have the car. It's come too far to go back now. I'm going to buy myself some more new goodies after winter.

What did the $600 all include? Was the TSX 6th part of that? Oh yeah, Brian told me before, but what FD did you end up going with?

Ya all the tsx parts that were needed. And a bunch of other misc stuff. New syncros, shift collars, a new countershaft, needle bearing, etc etc. I'd have to look at the invoice. I told Brian to just order whatever he needed to make the trans perfect before the PPGs. It's got the 4.3fd in it. I had debated between that and the 4.7 out of the ep trans I had blown. With the 4.3 the 2nd goes to 85 and 3rd goes to 122. With the 4.7 3rd woulda gona to about 110.

Congratulations I love the new tranny I'm looking to get the ppg gears as well but first I have to do my turbo install lol quick question when you had your stock tranny did you used to beat on it a lot ?

Moderately I suppose. Did pulls on the street once in awhile. Started causing me problems at high rpm shifts. Took it to the track and it shat. Put the ep3 5 speed in it 6 months later, and it lasted 6 weeks before shitting as well.

Ok thank you for the info I was just wondering because I just need it a idea of how long mine would last even know I have the 05-06 with I don't like for boost but o well one more question how much was for the ppg set the all thing ?
