Good job Steve!!! We need some in-car cruising vids to enjoy the sound of the gears. What camera are you filming with and did you use any of the EP3 parts?

I think i have a couple in-car clips on my comp actually. Can probably post em up but I'll just take some new ones cause the gears, especially first gear are much louder after I've tracked it a few times now. The camera is a Sony that is a few years old from when they first came out with the hard disk drive cameras. Its model number is dcr-sr80. I didn't use any EP3 parts, Brian just ordered all new oem stuff as he came across oem pieces that we still needed and could use replacing. Wanted to start brand new.

Plus Jun said he wanted my old EP trans for something to do with 1st or 2nd gear.

New personal best of 11.79 @ 120mph tonight. Had a handfull of passes, 11.83, 11.84, 11.79, 11.80 and an 11.9 something. Had a pretty nasty head wind tonight too.

Yeah, and I launch in 1st. I couldn't launch in anything higher cause my 2nd goes to 85mph.

i just installed my rbc today and wow i love it just one question on the pcv how come u disconnected it and plugged the mani?

Are you N/A or running a turbo setup?

It gets rid of oily intake charge. I had oil and what not in the plenum of my manifold etc from leaving it hooked up so I disconnected it and plugged the mani to get rid of the oil in the intake system.

Don't bother disconnecting it. And you have to have kpro to see any benefit of running an rbc.

Timeslips and video from Test n Tune Wednesday night... Car was consistant again but I am still working on things to get my 60' down. It was doing consistant 1.79, 1.80, 1.81 60' times and I tried to play with tire pressures but my original tire pressure of 9psi seemed to be best. I think the next thing I'm going to try is adjusting the boost level in 1st gear. I'd like to see 1.6s in the 60'.

Not sure. Last test n tune for the year was last night. I went but the track prep was a DAMN joke, so I got pissed off and left. Might be able to get some videos cruising around next time I drive it tho.
