So I wrecked my car today... did a 540 at 70mph and ended up off the highway and on the other side of a ditch. Just got the car back to my garage. Basically it'll sit there until I have the money to fix it or until eternity in which case I'll part it out. Fucking bullshit.

I was in the left lane and there was a gravel truck that was 2 cars ahead of me and he was droppin' rocks like an inch wide onto the road and hitting my car with em. One hit my pillar and left a nice mark. Anyways, I got over in the middle lane to pass him, (he was also going below the speed limit.. camping the left lane and dropping rocks..wtf).. anyways, got into the middle lane got on it to go by him and a guy from the right lane (which was a lane that was "exit only" and got off the highway) decided he didn't want to exit and cut in front of me. So I got on the brakes hard, and for whatever reason, I grabbed the ebrake too (I don't know why I did, and I didn't like yank on it hard or anything, and yes I know that's retarded but it all happened really fast) After that the rear end swung out, I had bald ass RT-615s on the rear that used to be up front and shoulda been replaced long ago, the car did like 3/4 of a spin, went off the road, through a ditch while still spinning another 3/4 turn and ended up on the other side of the ditch and up a bit. Four cops showed up and 2 witnesses stopped. The witnesses told the cops I was speeding, which I didn't deny, I admitted to speeding and told the cops exactly what had happened just like above. I told em I was doing 70 and they decided to be smart asses and pull out their fancy ass roller thing to judge my speed based off the skid. One cop made a smart comment to me about it like I was lying and he was gonna prove me wrong... he walked over and measured and the shit out and then never came back over to me. The original cop on the scene then came over and gave me a ticket for RECKLESS driving. Seriously WTF. Now I gotta go to court in january and hope to keep my license and also have to figure out what I'm gonna do about the car. I only briefly looked at the car once I got it towed back, but just from briefly looking at it the suspension is fucked, the front lip got torn off and ripped into like 12 pieces and that front lip isn't even made anymore by cwest, the sideskirts took a beating but may be repairable, the rear lip broke but may be repairable, the front and rear bumpers need repainted if not replaced, my rear tires clearly need replaced and it blew out one of the fronts so i'll need new tires, most likely ill need all new wheels.. I think it only F'd the passenger front wheel really bad but the finish on all the others probably wont be good once I clean the earth clogs and shit out of em.. but they don't make those wheels in that finish anymore whatsoever so I'll have to get all new wheels too. Everything mechanically aside from suspension is still good. I haven't cleaned the car yet to see what other panels may need paint but it's gonna be thousands to fix everything no matter how I slice and dice it so. Anyways, that's the story.

Time to let the insurance company do their job and fix your ride. This will be a great time to do the 05-06 conversion and let the insurance pay for all of it. Glad to here it's not major but she will get fixed, just try and keep your head up!

Damn bro sorry to hear that your car is one of my favorite rsx in the site I hope everything works out for you if I was you I would let the insurance take care of it it may go up a little but its gonna be well worth it and while you are at it do the 05-06 conversion.
