HI im 17 years of age and i own an 2002 acura tl ( not s ) with 79k on it.
i ask around ( C list etc ) if anyone wants to trade even for my car. i have gotten some offers but by the time i respond its sold. I finally had this one, he seemed really interested ( his rsx type s had 150 plus K!!!!

) and he WOULDNT TRADE EVEN because he talk to his Mecanic and he said the tranny's are bad for my car.

THIS SEEMS THE CASE/ FIRST QUESTION PEOPLE ASK ME WHEN

. my tranny is fine but they "dont want to take chances"

i have an warranty on the car until 2012. im 17. should i just wait till the warranty is up, for should i keep searching?

( start saving money threwout summer to get an sti in the year of 2012? )

-You have a TL (the old shitty one at that) that you want to trade for an RSX-S.
-You looked on Craigslist, but everyone on there is a flake and wont trade
-Some kid told you that the transmission in your car is shit, and that its no good
-You have a warranty but yet no one wants your car

so I have to ask, is your car that shitty, or are you just that bad at selling your car? Being 17 should mean you should NOT have an RSX, or STi for that matter because you'll more than likely either rice it out or mess it up. Just wait a little, unless something good comes up.

A little hint: dont use Craigslist.

keep your car....low miles for that year so you have nothing to worry about. Be smart, save your money and buy somthing in another year or two. Trust me you'll be happier in the long run!

keep the TL, but if you really want to sell it, get rid that cold air intake, it might scare off non-enthusiast buyers.
