245/45/16 Fuzion Zri - ONLY tire I can find to stay in street class with a wider tire..

OR stick to a 225 tire size and I can get Z1 Star Spec/RE-11/etc etc

Or jump into Super Street FWD

and use a R-comp tire.... I honestly think I'm not ready to take on this task.

I'm not to educated on spring freqz, but I know I want the front to be lower than the rear... i.e. maybe 2.0hzF - 2.2hz R... all those calculators you guys did in those threads had me sratching my head.

EDIT: i'm just gonna order RSDs.. I think this coilover will be more than enough for me...

2011 Schedule Announcement

Over the last twenty two months, RLTA, LLC has worked hard to bring quality professional motorsport events to the Import Tuner and GT racing world.  RLTA, LLC introduced new series in 2011 and partnered with new racing groups.  Even with tremendous investment, for a variety of reasons RLTA, LLC events have not met our expectations.  It is clear that RLTA, LLC needs to reorganize and make some hard business decisions in order to continue to bring exciting motorsports programs to our participants and fans.

In order to better place ourselves to strategically work with new partners in 2012 we have decided to cancel the remaining events on our 2011 Schedule.

We appreciate the support we have received from all our racers, fans, and sponsors over the last 2 years. Look for exciting announcements to come in the next few months as we develop our 2012 program.

Thank you,

Jackson Stewart
Manager, RLTA, LLC

I wouldn't be surprised if they sold it or just never see another rta event

totally agree with you. that was the only thing keeping them alive...they can't expect to only reel in all the big money company contenders.

All these pictures and talk of racing makes me emo.

I don't even have a car to get around in let alone race.

do you guys know of a forum or a site where I can get used rims and tires for racing? I am looking for some 4x100 rims with some nice tires on them to run in auto x

RSD came in!

I'm assuming that the allen bolt can be moved into the inner holes to adjust camber???

Also I checked Palmerblock's thread on his N+ install and I noticed that his rear shock top hats have the N+ sticker facing inward towards the car..... Did I fail cause I have the RSD sticker facing the other way....

i am not too concern about getting the shop to pay for it, since i was going to retire them after this summer anyway.
i plan to go to 17" for wider tires.

while on the track, i was pushing so hard that i was having lots of issues with heat.
engine oil went up to 130C (266F).
i notice the oil pressure dipping on the tight right 180 degree sweeper.
coolant went up to 101C (214F). i had to turn the heat all the way up to keep the engine at 98C (208F)
boiled the brake fluid (Motul RBF600) after 3 laps.
i had to pump the brake a few times to build up pressure before the brake zone.
and then a few more laps later, the XP10 started fading.

my car is turboed.

i am looking for a bigger radiator hoping it would help.
i am also piecing together an oil cooler.
and looking at the brake duct DIYs.
This is why I lone NA. Pure enjoyment session after session, no BS.

If youre handy try running some ducting around the perimiter of the radiator between it and the bumper. This will keep all the air forced through the radiator instead of blowing past the sides and getting caught up inside the front body work. Also if you do the oil cooler, be careful with placement. You dont want to starve the rad of any air since youre already running hot.

Last year in the summer 110*+, because of engine bay temps, I melted my cowl, it dripped on the manifold. melted a brake booster check valve and some paint. I had no engine temp issues. Something is wrong with his car. Probably just air in cooling system. With my current engine bay venting I havnt had any problems.
You like to work shit out, I'm sure you would enjoy forced induction.

yup
there is a hole and a few cracks in the engine.

but before that hole appeared, when i was still NA, if i push hard enough, i could already go to 101C, it just took more laps.
and the same 130C engine oil.
