Colorodo peeps, denver or CO Springs?

which is a better place to visit, for an older tourists not young partiers , Denver or Colorado Springs??

Also, it seems like all flights go into Denver, is it a far trip to colorado springs?

Hours?! It takes me 1 hour to get from downtown Denver to downtown Springs.

Also I would visit both since there is quite a bit of stuff to see in both cities.
