I figure, my car is sitting so why waste money on it til spring time. I had an itchy palm so I re-ordered the rbc and this time slapped it on with the s body. I realized that it was running good without kpro, so I parked it and felt accomplished. Last time I had the rbc, I slapped it on without the base tb and the car was shooting gas out the exhaust, I then proceeded to put it back to stock and sell the mani. But now that I tried it again and it actually runs, I feel good. Just like previously stated, it ain't my daily, it just sits. So, no problems here. Kpro is coming!

the plugs go to the secondary runner system

your not gonna be able to use the prb ecu on the car. theres really nothing you can do to get rid of the cel aside from covering it up somehow or just getting kpro

ya it's for type s throttle body swap. Hook up a scan tool and see what the codes are. Even low oil level will throw throw the car in limp mode.

the problem was bcuz it was out of timing! but its all set now vtec kicks in! BUT when i drive it for a while CEL comes on and car only goes till 3k rpm code says p1129 i reset the ecu and car does the same after around 10 milles driving it! do u think is the position od TB? bcuz i just put the TB in the manifold and didnt check positions if its on 0% can it be that? i have the base TB do i have to rewire the tps?

on the type s throttle body, if your running the base ecu, did you switch the wires on the tps?

only rewire with type s throttle body because the sensor is on the opposite side of the tb so it twist the opposite direction.

Wait, are you using and s harness by any chance? Never mind, I just read your previous post. I seen you had two plugs hanging. You have the base harness for sure

Just installed my rbc, a2 throttle body, and kpro a couple days ago, and just my luck i kept running into problems that made the install a pita. I also had to extend the wiring harness for both the map sensor and the tps for them to be able to fit in their new location. I couldn't get enough play out of the harness. Despite the small road blocks, this is by far my favorite mod.

I did all that, it ran great! I went to a meet, on the way home a z28 was messing with me and a s/c spec v. I got behind him and trashed him. Then the next day I was just messing with launch control leaving work, it's set at 2500. I launched hard, shifted to second and bam I hit my head on the steering wheel cause the motor cut out and now it won't go past 1800 rpm, it took forever to get it home. 25 mph in 5th gear. I checked the sensors, come to find out, tps was at -5% when idling and car off, It was at 60% when w.o.t. I ordered a new omni sensor for a s tb today. Just waiting again.
